Also known as, “WNC’s dirty duathlon” because it takes place on private, undisturbed land, Dig the Du is not only a good introduction to off-road, multi-sport events, it is also a great venue for seasoned athletes.

OpenDoors Event Helps Children in Need

It’s only four years old but it’s already one of the most popular fund-raising events in the area. At 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, a growing crowd of supporters will gather for the OpenDoors of Asheville Art Affair at The Venue, 21 N. Market Street, for a “Paris of the South” themed evening to help raise money for children living in poverty. There will be fine art, gourmet food, wine, beer, and lots of great entertainment.
