It’s time for you to Dig the Du!

We are excited to hold the 5th Annual Dig the Du and Kids Du 2 this weekend at Sky Valley Farms thanks to the Perry Family in memory of Llewellyn Perry and to benefit the Llewellyn Perry scholarship fund.  The race is presented by Hunter Subaru! We are expecting more than one hundred participants on Sunday, October 11th.  Online registration closes at midnight tonight, so if you want to save yourself some time (and some sleep) on Sunday, register here.  We have Izzy’s coffee truck on-site, so don’t worry about starting the day early.

If you aren’t feeling up to racing this weekend, but would still like to participate in this amazing event to benefit OpenDoors, please consider giving a couple hours of your time to assist with various aspects of the race. We still have a few critical volunteer positions available, and it is simple and easy to sign up to help. Just click on this link and select the job that works best for you. http://www.raceit.com/search/event.aspx?id=33634

Please check out the beautiful race course and details here!  We are honored to have food from 12 Bones, Moe’s and many others and we are once again thrilled to offer you a chance to win great prizes from I9 and Eno to a month of unlimited yoga from Asheville Yoga Center and hand crafted awards from Mangum Pottery, Asheville Glass Center, and Oowee Koozie!

Thank you again for your support of our mission to break the cycle of poverty for local kids. We can’t Du this event and strengthen our community without you and our incredible cadre of sponsors and volunteers.
