Meet Dazya’
Since starting in August at this coed college-prep boarding school for students with dyslexia, Dazya’ has joined the soccer team, continued to play a lot of tennis, been voted 9th grade representative, and has made friends from all over the world. After moving in, her mom said, “I felt like Dazya’ was home. They welcomed her with open arms!” We are so proud of her as a brave 9th grader, and Gow obviously agrees, according to her first progress report: “Dazya’ arrives to class with her completed homework and eager to learn each day. She volunteers her answers and asks insightful questions. She has been exhibiting a considerable degree of talent.” Go Dazya’!

Meet Jaheim
Jaheim is now a senior at Gow School and has recently been elected as Student Body President! He is also an RA in the dorms and according to his advisor, “he has done an excellent job setting a good example for his residents. Jaheim has a great rapport with the other students… he has been on time for his obligations and keeps his room clean!” And more, in his Honors Advanced Writing class he is “currently studying Archetypal Literary theory. During the lessons, Jaheim asks insightful comments, and his response to the reading also demonstrates his understanding of the material.” Go Jaheim!
